Autelier's Promise - Hygiene Practices during Bridal Makeup Sessions
Autelier has always placed great importance on professional hygiene practices. With the Covid-19 situation now, it is no doubt that hygiene is our first cardinal rule. Here is the complete guide on how we will be looking out for you, our clients’ safety and health.
BEFORE WE START THE MAKEUP SESSION
( If makeup is done in our studio … )
You will be required to log into the SAFE ENTRY system.
A temperature check will be conducted to ensure you are not having fever.
Your temperature and travel history will be recorded in our guests record google form.
Each client will have their private makeup room (Strictly no sharing of room with another client).
Please come alone and do not bring guests.
Do inform us earlier if you are feeling unwell.
( If makeup is done in your home … )
A temperature check should be conducted for both yourself and our makeup artist.
An individual room with you alone will be preferred during the makeup session to reduce contact with others..
GENERAL GOOD PRACTICES
Wash our hands and apply sanitiser before we begin makeup.
Wear a face mask and face shield.
Will reduce the usage of hands for application unless really necessary.
HOW DO WE ENSURE OUR MAKEUP ITEMS ARE HYGIENIC AND CLEAN
BRUSHES
Brushes will be cleaned with soap and sanitised with antibacterial solution. They will be air dried and packed immediately upon drying.
There will be no sharing of brushes for clients. Each client will have a freshly cleaned set of brushes.
Clients may use their own set of brushes, if preferred.
One-time-use applicators will be used as and when possible.
SKIN CARE
We will use sanitised spatula to retrieve product from the jars and strictly no double dipping.
COSMETIC PRODUCTS ( EYESHADOWs, BLUSHERS ETC )
wiping off the top layer of the product and then spraying with 70 % isopropyl alcohol. The alcohol will dry quickly on its own.
any alcohol percentage of above 70 % can dry out the products and cause irritation to the skin, so do let us know if you are sensitive or allergic to alcohol.
LIP PRODUCTS
clean actual lipstick with a tissue and an alcohol solution; saturate a tissue in the solution and rub away at the top and sides of the lipstick. This should get rid of the outer surface which has been exposed
Recommend for you to have your own lipstick
MASCARA
Mascara will be applied using an applicator instead of direct from the mascara.
One applicator per eye to prevent double dipping.
EYELASH CURLER, SCISSORS, TWEEZERS AND ALL OTHER SMALL TOOLS
Will be cleaned with alcohol swabs wipes after each use.
MAKEUP PRODUCTS , MAKEUP BOX
All items will be wiped with antibacterial wipes or sprays.
EYELASH GLUE
No direct application of the glue onto the eyelashes. All glue has to be put on a clean surface before using.
SPONGES & POWDER PUFFS
We will be using disposable sponges and clean powder puff for each and every client.
HAIR STYLING PRODUCTS
All handles of hair equipment will be cleaned thoroughly by using antibacterial wipes or sprays.
There will be no sharing of combs and each client will have their own set of cleanly washed and sanitised combs.
